Halo Lung Function was founded in 2024 by Melissa Traynor a Respiratory Physiologist from Armagh, after she became acutely aware of the lack of access to lung function services across NI after the pandemic.

Melissa’s goal was simple.

‘Provide easy access to good quality accurate and safe diagnostic testing locally’

She teamed up with local private GP’s, specialist respiratory nurses and respiratory consultants to help take her vision from paper into a reality.

Today, Halo lung function clinics are available throughout NI and new locations are added regularly.
